Vegetarian Rennet 10 tablets
This is a coagulant made from a selected strain of the fungus Mucur Pussillus and/or Mucur Miehei. It is widely used in the commercial cheese making industry to coagulate the milk for cheese and junket making. It contains no animal tissue and is therefore particularly good if you would like to make vegetarian cheeses.
1/2 tablet is enough to set 2 gallon of milk in about 45 minutes at 86 - 95F. To prepare the tablet just crush the amount need in your recipe and mix with 1/4 cup of cold non-chlorinated water. Then added the dissolved portion to your recipe as directed.
